Education

Attention Parents and Guardians

We’re thrilled that all of our teachers have moved their class websites into On Course Systems.

Parents and Guardians can see what is going on in their child's classroom by clicking on their child's teacher name on the left side of the site. Teachers will be using the site to post their lesson plans and learning resources.

Our academic instruction is designed to meet the needs of regular and special education students in order to maximize student development.
Education is valued as a key component of each youth’s sense of success and competence, social development, and as an essential feature of his future.  Stetson’s Robinson Education Center offers
self-contained classrooms, a science lab, computer lab, industrial
arts workshop, an art room, media center and library. Our academic instruction is designed to meet the needs of regular and special education students in order to maximize student development.
We serve regular and special education students; however, the majority of our students are special education eligible with annual Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and quarterly IEP progress reports.

Our curriculum meets the Massachusetts’ Curriculum Frameworks, offering courses in English, math, history, and science grades 4 through 12.  In addition students participate in health education, physical education, career studies, art, and woodshop. Remedial reading services are provided by our Literacy/Assessment Coordinator.  All teachers are certified in either a content area and/or in special education.

The 12-month, 216-day/year education program begins in late August and concludes in mid June, with a summer session in July and part of August. Time in learning is from 9:00am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
