Stetson School uses a behavioral cycle that visualizes the development of dysfucntional behavior occuring in phases. To see a basic version of the Dsyfucntional Behavioral Cycle used in cognitive behavioral work at Stetson School, click here. To see a more detailed version of the cycle, click here.

In working with cognitively impaired students at Stetson (IQs 55-80), we use a "stairway" model of the the behavioral cycle that we believe may be easier and more straightforward for lower functioning students to use. To view the "One Safe Step at a Time" model of the behavioral cycle, click here.
